Fall Wreath

24 Sep

Thanks to Pinterest I’m way into making wreaths. I don’t like to make copies though so I do my own thing. For my fall wreath I bought fall faux flowers, cut off all the leaves, and hot glued them to a $4 wooden wreath I bought. I also bought brown satin ribbon to add a bottom bow (I love bows). It took me 45 min and I’m quite pleased with the result 🙂 2 holidays down, quite a few to go!

I love the Olympics!

29 Jul

It’s the Summer Olympics, hooray! To celebrate I decided to make my very own Team USA Olympic wreath. I’m also looking forward to using it for 4th of July. I actually had hoped to purchase a 4th of July wreath prior to the holiday this year, but could never find one. It was a lot more fun making one myself anyways 🙂 It took around $20 worth of materials (although I can re-use the glue gun and glue) and an hour of my time. I’m really looking forward to making a Fall themed wreath next!
